un•expected
so far, i have been very lucky
because what was right for me, that found me,
has also been incredibly beautiful
because of my being rootless
I could not resist such an invitation to root down, when Benjamin proposed it to me.
The challenge was worthy of my research of perfection in what everybody thinks is impossible, and the time was ripe.
I moved in, leaping into the unknown, trusting that it would get more beautiful and suited, with time.
Fasting forward 5 years and a marvelous daughter (dog, cats, rainbows, chickens, hugs …) later, it’s so much we have achieved:
we own a Vegetable Oasis into the forest of Brandenburg, in which we grow so many varieties of vegetables, fruits and flowers, that we can nourish a community of 100 people around us and in Berlin.

but it’s not enough
when demetra was born, we started erecting a yurt
It’s a tent, home to nomad populations of Kyrgyzstan:
we opted for a diameter of 8 meters, which makes it almost 50 square meters big
Inside of this circular dome we host groups that want to disconnect from the city buzz
and reconnect to the natural cycles of nature, also by eating the food that we produce.
